(1) December 2011

Mazda's total domestic production volume in December 2011 decreased 8.1% compared to December 2010 due to reduced production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from January through December 2011 decreased 10.9% compared to the same period in 2010, due to reduced production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production
(1) December 2011

Mazda's total overseas production volume in December 2011 decreased 30.6% compared to December 2010, reflecting reduced production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in December 2011 increased 27.4% compared to December 2010, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 4.2% (up 0.3 points year-on-year), with a 2.3% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 3.5% total market share (up 0.2 points year-on-year).

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from January through December 2011 decreased 15.1% compared to the same period in 2010, due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.4% (unchanged year-on-year), with a 3.0% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 4.5% total market share (unchanged year-on-year).
